Trial Lawyers

Founded in 1972, Lyman & Ash has a history of protecting the rights of individuals, with trial and appellate experience at all levels, and has helped shape the law through published court decisions.

Our firm has represented a range of clients, including public corporations, business owners, investors, former judges, restaurant and hotel workers, school children, and victims of police misconduct, in a variety of matters, including constitutional, employment, and LGBT rights, personal injury, finance and estates.

Beginning with its founding partners, Cletus Lyman and the late Richard Ash, the firm handles a small volume of cases and preserves a moderate size to provide a more personal approach and take on challenging and novel cases.

Two attorneys are admitted in New York, two in New Jersey, and one each in Delaware and Massachusetts.

Attorneys have appeared pro hac vice in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Rhode Island.
